Problem Solving: The Strategies

Have your students try out these different problem solving strategies when approaching an activity. I always tell teachers not to introduce these one at a time but instead give your students all the options from the get-go so they can decide which strategy works best for them. Make sure to let them choose – if it’s not working out, it’s up to the student to pick a different strategy.
