If The Maths Workshop has aged well I can’t honestly say the same about some sections of this book. I asked my own kids some questions from it recently and I was met with Bob who? (Hawke); what is Cold Chisel? The sections on dinosaurs has, not surprisingly, aged quite well.<\/p>\n
The Outer Space section is okay (although Pluto no longer makes the cut as a planet – sad day for me and Plutonians everywhere!) the animals and conservation section is okay. The book contains some useful ideas\/suggestions on how to set up different types of quizzes in your room. Once again if you can find a copy go ahead and photocopy it – the General Knowledge and Australia sections will be good for a chuckle.<\/p>\n
